iPhone 3G S - Simple Transition

Hello everyone,

I am back from my trip to California, and I picked up my new iPhone 3G S. I was able to get this, without a charge, because I had purchased my iPhone 3G within 30 days of the announcement of the new iPhone 3G S. I only had to pay a $20 restocking fee for the old phone. Pretty cool.

I was a bit worried about the transition of my data from the old phone to the new one, but it was really slick. Prior to going to the AT&T store to pick up the new phone this morning, I sync'd it with iTunes, which automatically did a backup of the phone as well.

When I came home with the new phone and plugged it into my laptop, iTunes asked me if I wanted to sync this phone and restore the backup I did this morning.

I now have the new phone, and all my apps, data, email, contacts, and text messages are on the new phone. Apple makes things so easy!
